Privacy notice

Personal information protection

Updated and effective: 5 October 2026

合肥市极点智库智能装备有限公司 (GEODOM, “we” or “us”) values your personal information and privacy. This policy applies to users of our public website when browsing, submitting enquiries, downloading documents, applying for jobs and communicating about those matters. We process personal information lawfully, fairly and only as necessary under applicable laws, including China's Personal Information Protection Law and Regulations on Network Data Security Management.

Please pay attention to collection and use, disclosures, retention and your rights. Browsing does not constitute consent to all processing. Consent for an enquiry or application covers that matter; it does not automatically authorise unrelated marketing or other purposes.

1. Collection and use

Depending on the features you use, we collect and use necessary information:

  • Enquiries: your name, telephone number and message, with optional company, email and area of interest, to respond, discuss solutions and handle and follow up on your request. Required fields are marked on the page. Without necessary details, the matter may not be handled, but public browsing remains available.
  • Applications: your name, telephone number, email, selected role and information you submit in your CV, for assessment and communication about that application. Provide only relevant details. CVs are not published on the website.
  • Visits and security: page usage, random browser identifiers, network addresses and browser request information, for website operation, statistics, security and troubleshooting. Visit statistics run by default; identifiers are not linked to enquiry or CV records to build personal profiles. Public browsing and downloads do not themselves require a name or telephone number.

We do not collect beyond our purposes or sell personal information. One submission does not authorise unrelated uses. Changes to purposes, methods or information categories require appropriate notice and consent or another applicable lawful basis.

2. Consent and choice

Consent must be voluntary, informed and affirmative. You can express it through a form checkbox or explicit confirmation before submission and withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing, but may prevent further handling of the enquiry or application. Refusing unrelated uses does not affect features that do not require that information.

Where the law permits processing without consent, such as entering into or performing a contract to which you are a party or fulfilling legal obligations, processing is limited to what that basis requires. This general policy or an ordinary checkbox cannot replace separate, written or guardian consent where required.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies support sessions, form-security checks and visit statistics. Session cookies normally expire with the session; the random visitor-identifier cookie may last for 365 days. Statistics help us understand usage and improve the website, rather than track advertising across sites. Random identifiers are treated as de-identified information, not as fully anonymous information.

Your browser lets you inspect, clear, restrict or block cookies. Blocking statistics cookies does not prevent public browsing; blocking session cookies may affect form checks or submissions. If you clear a cookie but continue allowing cookies, later visits may create a new identifier. General policy wording does not replace specific notice or valid consent where required by law.

4. Access, processors and disclosures

Submitted information is available only to authorised personnel who need it for the relevant matter and is not publicly displayed. When a technical provider processes information on our instructions, we define the purposes, scope, duration, confidentiality and security obligations required by law and supervise processing within the agreement.

When WeCom notifications are enabled, enquiry names, company details, telephone numbers, emails, interests and messages may be transmitted through WeCom, provided by Shenzhen Tencent Computer Systems Company Limited, to our designated internal work group for follow-up. See the WeCom privacy notice. We fulfil protection obligations according to the actual processing relationship.

If another handler receives information for its own processing purposes, we will, except where a legal exception applies, identify the recipient and contact details, purposes, methods and information types and obtain required separate consent. Organisational transfers, such as mergers, require appropriate notice and continuing protection by the recipient. Disclosures to competent authorities are limited to legal requirements and necessary scope.

External stores, social platforms, maps and other third-party services apply their own privacy rules. Read those notices when following a link. Displaying a link does not itself mean that an enquiry or CV has been disclosed to the platform. New third-party components that directly collect information require relevant notice and applicable procedures.

5. Storage and retention

Enquiry, application and other business information submitted through the website is stored in mainland China. If an overseas transfer becomes necessary, we will fulfil applicable notice, separate-consent and cross-border compliance requirements.

Personal information is kept for the shortest period necessary for its purpose. Retention depends on the handling status, service or contract performance, necessary dispute handling and statutory requirements; collection does not justify indefinite retention. New recruitment purposes, such as other vacancies or talent pools, require additional notice and appropriate permission.

When a purpose is fulfilled, cannot be fulfilled or is no longer necessary, a period expires or another lawful deletion condition applies, we will delete or anonymise the information and address related attachments and processor copies. If law requires retention or a technical obstacle temporarily prevents deletion, processing is restricted to storage and necessary security protection until lawful disposal becomes possible.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request information about processing, access and copies, correction or completion, withdrawal of consent, restriction or refusal of processing, deletion and explanation of processing rules. Where statutory conditions are met, you may request transfer to a designated handler.

Use the contact details below, describing the request and information needed to locate the matter, such as submission time and the contact details originally provided. We may verify necessary identity details to prevent disclosure to others, but should not request unrelated material. Do not send complete identity-document images or other sensitive material unsolicited.

We will verify and handle requests promptly and explain the outcome, any further information needed or applicable restrictions and next steps. Reasonable requests are normally free of charge. You may contact us again, complain to a competent personal information protection authority or seek judicial remedies as applicable.

7. Sensitive information and minors

The website offers business products and project services and is not directed at children under 14. Do not include unrelated identity documents, financial accounts, health information, biometrics, precise location or other sensitive information in ordinary enquiries or CVs, or information about others without lawful authority.

If sensitive information or information about children under 14 must be processed, sufficient necessity, strict safeguards, specific notice and required separate or guardian consent apply. If information is received inadvertently, we will verify the circumstances and take lawful deletion or restriction measures.

8. Security

We adopt technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the types, purposes and risks of information to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and loss. If an incident occurs or may occur, we will take timely remedial action and make legally required reports and notifications. Safeguards do not guarantee elimination of every network risk.

9. Updates

We may update this policy as services and legal requirements change and will show update and effective dates. Important changes require prominent notice through an appropriate channel. Where renewed consent is legally required, we obtain it before the relevant processing. Continuing to browse alone does not expand your authorisation.
